Bacon Bombs

OK-  You are going to love this!  We were having homemade pizza tonight.   Since I was already making one pizza dough, I went ahead and made a second for these AWESOME bacon bombs!!  My kids LOVE these!  I originally had something like these out at a restaurant and they were charging $5 a piece!  I knew I could make something that tasted even better for a better price and I scored!  Keep going for the recipe.

You are going to love these bacon bombs. They are a hit on pizza night or any party! You HAVE to try them! They are the BOMB!

Bacon Bombs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 5 slices- cooked bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pizza dough- I just use the Fleischmann’s Yeast recipe here.

Directions

  1. Mix up the pizza dough according to the directions.
  2. Combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, cooked bacon and garlic powder. Mix well.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and divide into 8 equal sections.
  4. Divide the cheese mixture equally and put on top of each section.  You’ll want to gather up all the sides and pinch them to seal up all the edges. Place sealed edged down on a baking sheet. You are going to love these bacon bombs. They are a hit on pizza night or any party! You HAVE to try them! They are the BOMB!
  5. Bake 16-20 minutes or until dough is brown.

When these come out and the cheese inside is all warm and gooey is the best time to eat them!  You can serve this with a side of marinara.  I just use a jar sauce we have in the pantry (Usually Prego).
