Grilled Chili Honey Orange Salmon

My husband and I love fish, but don’t eat it as much as we’d like.  It’s so easy and healthy.  Every time we eat it, we talk about why we don’t eat it more.  This recipe is DELICIOUS!  You probably have all the ingredients in your house and it’s a quick meal when you’re in a rush.  Make double and eat the leftovers for lunch the next day on a salad!  YUM!

Salmon is such a quick and healthy meal. This grilled chili honey orange salmon is tasty on the grill on a hot summer night.

Grilled Chili Honey Orange Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1  clove garlic, chopped
  • Green onions for garnish

Directions

  • Mix honey, orange juice, chili powder and garlic.  Pour over salmon and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Place salmon on greased grill.  Cook for 6 minutes, flip, and cook another 6 minutes.  You may need to cook a little longer or less depending on the size of your fish. (To grease a grill I just get a paper towel and put olive oil on it.  I use tongs to rub it on the grates.)
  • Garnish with sliced green onions.
