Elmo Party Ideas
I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hasbro and Playskool. I received product samples and a party stipend to facilitate my review, as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
I know so many kids out there that love Elmo so why not throw an Elmo inspired party! Here’s the Elmo that got me thinking of some Elmo party ideas!
First, I started with some decorations. I printed off some Elmo images from the Internet and decorated with those. Make sure you keep them at a lower level so the kids can get a good look at them.
It was super easy to prepare for a party. First off, they are kids so you need to make sure you have some kid friendly foods. I try to make it as healthy as I can and add a sweet treat for dessert. One of the things I usually do for get togethers is the have finger foods. It’s the worst having to keep up with utensils, especially if you have to keep up with yours and then your kids too. We got together around lunch time so I laid out some crackers, cheese and pepperonis and we made homemade lunchables. We had mini bottles of water to drink. The best part about this is that the kids can keep coming back and grabbing more to eat and I know it’s healthy. FYI- I normally don’t put out dessert until the end. I just put them out for the picture. 🙂 Moms usually like this kind of lunch too.
I made the cutest Elmo face using these fruits and veggies. My kids love grape or cherry tomatoes and it was a hit at this party too. They kept saying they were eating Elmo’s eyes!
We had a few friends come over and play while the older kids were at school! It was a great time and they all loved ELMO!
The new Play All Day Elmo from Hasbro is great because is goes from toddler to preschool age with a flip of the switch on the back. There is even a nap mode which my daughter loves because Elmo sings here a lullaby every night before bed. In the toddler mode, you can tickle Elmo and throw him up in the air and he will respond to your child. The kids were holding him upside down because they loved what he did. They were laughing so hard. In the preschool mode, Elmo was playing games and the kids loved pat-a-cake. Elmo Pay All Day is available at major retailers so everyone should be able to get one (hint, hint… Christmas is coming soon.)
Here are a few more toys from Playskool that are great for birthdays or Christmas!!
MY LITTLE PONY MUSICAL CELEBRATION CASTLE- This is a brand new toy that just came out this fall. It retails for $29.99 and my daughter loves My Little Pony! It includes 2 figures so it’s great for your kids to start playing as soon as they get it.
JURASSIC WORLD TYRANNOSAURUS REX- What boys (and girls) don’t love dinosaurs! This toy is great for your dinosaur loving kids in your life. It retails for $29.99. All of these toys are sure to be great sellers this year.
All play date was so much fun and I can’t wait until the next birthday so I can use some of these cute ideas.
