This garlic bread rolls recipe is the easiest and so tasty. It’s perfect to add to any weeknight dinner. The parmesan cheese makes them the best!
Everyone loves garlic rolls and these are super easy to make. You don’t need yeast or to pull out the stand mixer, just four ingredients and a few minutes. You don’t have to wait for your dough to rise!
I don’t know about you, but when I have people over during the holidays I don’t have time to make homemade dinner rolls! These taste just as good and, so simple and my family loves them.
My kids will eat these all day long if I let them. They aren’t just good for Christmas, but for a regular weeknight spaghetti dinner too.
Easy Parmesan Garlic Dinner Rolls
I cook them until they’re golden brown, normally less than 15 minutes and I like the parmesan cheese gooey and melty on the inside!
In less than 30 minutes you’ll have some yummy rolls. These are best served straight from the oven while they’re still warm.
Tools to make Garlic Rolls
9″ round baking pan– You can cook them on a regular baking sheet if you want, but I like to use the round one.
Cheese grater– I love this box grater because there are several different blades you can use so it’s perfect for all kinds of recipes.
Microwaveable bowl– These bowls are great for all kinds of kitchen needs. I have this set and use it all the time.
Ingredients for Garlic Bread Rolls
Take and bake rolls– You can find these types of rolls in the bakery section of your grocery store. I’ve found them in the local Publix to Walmart so you should be able to find them where you normally shop.
Parmesan – You can get a block of cheese and shred it yourself or buy the shredded parmesan in the dairy section of the grocery store.
Garlic– I like to use the garlic in the jar that’s already minced to save time because I’m super busy or you can mince your own fresh garlic.
Butter– I know one stick of melted butter sounds like a lot for this recipe, especially after you melt it. It looks like a lot, but it’s not.
You should use the entire amount so don’t skimp out on it. Once you add in the cheese, it’s the perfect amount.
Instructions to make Garlic Butter Rolls
Preheat the oven to 400F and add the rolls to the pan. Use a sharp knife to cut an X into the top of each roll, about 1 inch deep.
Add butter and garlic to a microwave safe bowl and heat in the microwave until butter is melted. Add grated parmesan cheese to the butter mixture and stir well.
Evenly distribute the mixture into each roll, making sure to get the butter and cheese into the slits.
Cook for 12-15 until cheese has melted. Serve while warm.
Also, I’ve made these several times and I’ve had to bake them longer than the time stated on the take and bake instructions, sometimes up to double the time.
