I recently started cooking bacon in the oven. I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but I thought I would give it a go and It’s the only way I do it now. It’s a great time saver on school mornings when I’m rushing around helping the kids get ready and making lunches. Scroll down to learn how to cook bacon in the oven.
I literally just found this and had to come share. I want this so bad!! I usually use old jars to store bacon grease, but this is so cute!!
How to Cook Bacon in the Oven
- I sent the oven (at what seems the universal temperature to cook most things) 350F.
- I lined a (9×13) baking sheet with foil and placed 8 thick cut slices. It doesn’t matter if they are touching because they shrink up.
- After 14-16 minutes, flip them over using tongs.
- Cook another 14-16 minutes or until desired crispiness.
NOTE: If you are using thinner bacon, reduce time to about 8-10 minutes per side
Wasn’t that easy? You’ll never go back to cooking the bacon on the stove after this!
