I just googled what bruschetta is and found that it’s toasted bread with some sort of topping. I could have an entire website on just bruschetta! So, I made a sweet bruschetta for brunch or dessert with what I had in my kitchen.
I’m even working on a strawberry bruschetta next. I’ve already written out the recipe!!!
Prep time on this berry bruschetta recipe is very little and can be made quickly.
Ingredients for cream cheese bruschetta with fresh berries
√French bread– You can get this in the bakery department of your regular supermarket. You can make your bread slices as thick as you’d like.
√Raspberries, blackberries and blueberries– You can use all or any combination of your favorite berries that you like best. Strawberries work too.
√Powdered sugar– You’ll mix this in with the cream cheese and sprinkle on top to give it that finishing touch.
√Cream cheese– The base of the spread you’ll use on the toast. You’ll want to make sure that it has been sitting out at room temperature before you begin so it’s easily spreadable.
√Vanilla– You can learn to make your own here. It’s really easy and saves a ton of money.
Garnish with fresh mint or fresh basil.
