I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for McCafé packaged coffee. I received product samples as well as a monetary promotional incentive to thank me for my participation.
I love coffee. I usually have a cup of McCafé package coffee in the morning with a little milk. By the afternoon, I love to have a special treat and around the holidays I love to make my coffee special. I have a recipe for a pumpkin spice creamer for fall and I wanted to share my peppermint mocha coffee creamer recipe with you.
Making homemade coffee creamer is so easy. I usually have the basic ingredients in my pantry, so I try making different ones all the time.
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
You want to mix these up in your blender.
Now you can try making different varieties. I started out with peppermint extract and added 3 teaspoons. Remember you want this to be strong. If you were to taste the creamer you may think you used to much extract. You’ll only be pouring a little amount in your McCafé packaged coffee, so you’ll want it to be strong. I originally wanted to do just the peppermint, but when I drank my coffee I felt something was missing. I decided to add in some chocolate syrup. I added in about 7 tablespoons. You can add in more or less. It just depends on how chocolatey you like it. I decided to crush up a mini candy cane in a small baggie to add to the top.
Don’t forget the whipped cream!
I like to store my coffee creamer in jars with lids. When you are ready to use them the chocolate and sweetened milk will settle to the bottom. If you store them in jars, then you’ll be able to shake it up before pouring into your coffee.
You can still get McCafé in your local McDonald’s, but also at the grocery store so you can enjoy it at home. They have 7 different flavors to choose from. You can buy K-Cups or ground coffee. My husband loves the Espresso Roast, while I love Hazelnut and Breakfast Blend.
McCafé packaged coffee loves to hear from their fans and you can follow them or tweet them at @McCafe. Let them know how you like your coffee.
