It’s time to get ready for Halloween. I always wait until the last minute, but I am way ahead of schedule this year. WooHoo!!! I have been working really hard at making my grocery lists and it seems to be paying off because I feel much more organized. When I was shopping at Walmart this morning and came across these Nestlé® TOLL HOUSE® Pumpkin Spice Morsels! I was jumping for joy! I decided to add these to my chocolate chip cookies I make because why wouldn’t anyone want chocolate and pumpkin together. They are my 2 favorite foods.
I found them in the center aisle with all the seasonal items. They’re already getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas already.
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or more):)
- 1/2 cup Nestlé® TOLL HOUSE Pumpkin Spice morsels (or more) 🙂
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Beat the butter with both sugar for 1 to 2 minutes, until creamy
- Add in flour and baking soda. Mix.
- Add water, oil, and vanilla and mix.
- Fold in the morsels with a spoon.
- Drop by spoonful onto the baking sheet. I usually do about 1-2 tablespoons and put 12-16 on the pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Look how yummy that looks. It’s taste really good with both chocolate and pumpkin spice and a big glass of milk.
While I was at Walmart, I grabbed some Halloween Candy, so I could get the good stuff before it sells out and I’m left with unpopular candy! I got Nestlé® Jumbo Assorted Fun Size.
I also grabbed a Tombstone® Pizza. I love the Halloween theme. I got pepperoni and it had a vampire on it. This will be perfect for Halloween night before we go out on the town and terrorize the neighbors. My kids love pizza and it’s fast and easy. I know they’ll eat a lot and not fill up on to much candy.
So now that I’ve given you a few things to think about, what are you doing to prepare for Halloween? Next time you are out in town, grab some of these items to make your Halloween tastier! What will you make with the Nestlé TOLL HOUSE Pumpkin Spice Morsels?
