Spring Time Resolutions
Spring is coming soon. I live in North Carolina and tomorrow is going to be 71! I am definitely getting spring fever. I always get energized around this time of year. I look forward to going outside and being more active. I love watching my 3 kids participate in all their sports activities. I also love working in my garden and I start planning what vegetables I going to plant. This year I started a spring time resolution to get healthier. Here’s what I’m going to do. Keep reading because I have a cash giveaway at the bottom.
- Drink more water. I normally drink a lot of water, but I started adding in a soda at lunch on many days. I’m working on cutting that out and replacing with water.
- Be outside more. With the weather getting warmer I want to head out and walk or bike around the block more. I always feel so much better after being out there.
- Take more time for myself. I love to read and have gotten out of it for the past year. I started a book challenged and have been trying to read.
- Eat healthy snacks. I’m really bad about grabbing some unhealthy snacks because of convenience and I’ve already found a few recipes that aren’t that hard or time consuming to snack on that satisfy my sweet tooth.
Here’s one of them, Nature Valley Bake Oat Bites. I could just sit around and eat these. They are so good with a touch of sweetness (that I love). Instead of just eating plain yogurt, I added some fruit and a little crunch from the cereal. It has 7 grams of protein for each serving and I need the protein in the mornings to keep me going. I got mine at Publix.
As you can see I have a little hand that has taken over my food while I was trying to take a picture. My daughter is 5 and loves this. She couldn’t wait.
You can get a $1.00 off coupon here. There is one with chocolate too! I’m putting that on my grocery list. Here’s the giveaway I was telling you earlier about. Enter below for your chance to win.
