Yea! It’s summer!! We’ve been out less than a week and we’re already so busy. We’ve had baseball and lacrosse and lots of days at the neighborhood pool. We had a great routine last year where I would pack a lunch and eat at the pool.
I’ve recently added a healthy living menu to my blog. I’ve really been trying to get back to healthier eating, exercising, and making more meals and snacks at home.
I love when the weather gets warm and we can grill out. We spend a lot of time outdoors and I love grilling out. My son is celebrating his first communion so we decided to have a little party for him.
I’ve been trying to make my own snacks lately instead of buying prepackaged snacks and chips from the store.
Mini muffins are always a hit and these were gone within 10 minutes! They are so light and fluffy with a little sugar and cinnamon on top! YUM!
My family is a meat loving family. We usually have some sort of meat at every meal. I’ve tried meatless Mondays, but after a few weeks I’m back to cooking my normal meals.
I’m sure, like most families with kids, that you have Goldfish® crackers in your pantry. I know I have several bags and cartons floating around in there. They aren’t just for snacking kids!
Isn’t it frustrating when your kids don’t eat the meals you cook. Making dinner can feel pointless when everyone complains and no one eats. I’m always trying to think of tricks to get them to eat.
I love dessert! My family loves dessert. However, we are so busy that I never have time to make it. Even if I did have time, we wouldn’t have time to eat it. I found a great little shortcut though.
Pork salsa verde is one of my family’s favorite meals. We have this a couple of times a month. It’s so easy and I usually have the ingredients on hand so…
We have a busy schedule and with lacrosse, soccer, and baseball starting in the next couple of weeks, we’ll be even busier.
