Valentine’s Day Strawberry Lemonade

I overheard my older son (who’s 10) telling someone that he loves Valentine’s Day because I always surprise them with a fun treat and a little gift. I usually leave it on the kitchen table so they see it when they come down to eat breakfast. I thought I would come up with something new this year.
- heart mold
This is so simple to make and doesn’t take long.
I started out by blending fresh strawberries in the blender. I left them in there awhile to make sure there were no clumps and it was pretty runny. Once it was liquified I poured it into my heart mold. I used a chocolate mold I had for making candy hearts and it worked just fine. I put it in the freezer and let it set. It only took a couple of hours.
I just poured the lemonade in a glass and used my strawberry hearts for ice. It worked out perfectly. I gave my daughter a sneak peak and taste test and she approved! 🙂 This is perfect for ice chewers too!
Since I’m addicted to watching all those recipe videos on Facebook, I decided to make one myself!! 🙂
