Ingredients
15.25ozlemon cake mix
1/3cupvegetable oil
1/3cupapplesauce
1tablespoonlemon juice
1cuppowdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Add cake mix, lemon juice, applesauce and vegetable oil to a large bowl and mix until well combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoon into bowl with the powdered sugar. Toss in the sugar until it has covered the dough. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Cook for 13-15 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes then move to a wire rack. Repeat until all the dough is cooked.
Notes
Tip 1If you make your cookies larger, then they will require longer cooking time.Tip 2The dough will be sticky. Use a spoon to get a scoop and use a finger to push it into the powdered sugar. Once it's in the powdered sugar, just toss until coated. Now you'll be able to pick it up with your hands without any stickiness.
