Eggless Orange Cake Mix Cookies

Ingredients

  • 15.25 oz orange cake mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable Oil
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • Zest of half an orange
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350F.
  • Add cake mix, orange juice, applesauce, vegetable oil and orange zest to a large bowl and combine using an electric mixer.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoon into bowl of powedered sugar. Toss until it has covered the dough. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Cook for 13-15 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet for two minutes before moving them to a wire cooling rack.

Notes

Tip 1
Use parchment paper to line your baking sheet. It's makes for an easy cleanup and the cookies don't stick.
Tip 2
Don't leave out rolling the dough in the powdered sugar. The cookies still taste good, but it looks so much better rolled in the powdered sugar.
