Egg Free Homemade Corn Dogs
These homemade corn dogs are the BOMB! The best part is that this recipe is egg free! My kids gave them two thumbs up and begged for more.

Ingredients

cup
flour
plus a little extra for dusting the hot dogs
1
cup
cornmeal
1 1/2
cups
buttermilk
3
tablespoons
maple syrup
3
tablespoons
sugar
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
baking powder
1/2
teaspoon
baking soda
wooden skewers
1
package hot dogs
Oil for frying
Instructions
Combine flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda and stir until combined.
Add buttermilk and maple syrup and stir.
Heat up at least 4 inches of oil to medium/high.
Cut hot dogs in half and insert wooden skewer. Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto hot dogs.
Dip each hot dog into batter.
Cook in oil for 2-3 minutes, spinning to make sure all sides are cooked.
Let cool before eating.
Notes
Tip 1- You can pour your corn dog batter into a drinking glass. It makes battering your hot dogs super simple!
