Eggless Vanilla Cake
This yummy eggless vanilla cake is perfect for any special occasion or a weeknight dessert. No one will even know this is an egg free cake.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add in buttermilk and vanilla and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add mixture to the creamed butter and combine thoroughly.
- Add batter to two greased 8" round pans and bake for 20-24 minutes.
- Let cool before turning out of pans and adding frosting.
