DELICIOUS Cobb Dip
I love dips and really should make them more. Whenever I get invited to a party and need to bring something, it’s always a dip.
I’m allergic to eggs and many dips have mayonnaise and I can’t eat them, so I just make my own to take. I know I’ll have something that I can eat. You can make this a day in advance and pull it out when you’re ready to eat.
When making a recipe for the internet, there’s a lot of research that goes into it that you probably don’t even know about! What you name your recipe is pretty important because you want something people already google. I normally would call this cobb dip, like a cobb salad. It has the same ingredients.
However, in my research, there is a thing called a cob loaf that’s popular and has spinach, bacon and cheese. It was in a bread bowl and warm. It looked really good and I’d never heard of it. Who knew? Cob is a British term for a small round loaf of bread and people put spinach dip in it! Now we both learned something and I’ll have to gtry making that next!

How to make Cobb Dip
Step 1
Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, dill, and parsley and mix well (about a minute or two). (I recently got a big my first stand mixer and using it all the time now.) Add mixture to a 9″X9″ dish. (This one is cute!)
Step 2
Add lettuce, tomatoes, corn, blue cheese, chopped avocado, sliced green onions, and crumbled bacon to the top.
Step 3
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I have been using this Glad Press’n Seal since I went to the beach this summer and it works really well. My avocados don’t turn brown!
