Anyway, this easy pumpkin dip recipe is so good and SUPER easy to make. I love dips and I think most people love dips. When I go to parties and walk by a dip, I have to taste it. So you'll want to make this for any fall parties and fall gatherings you attend.

Kitchen Tools to Make Easy Pumpkin Dip

Handheld Electric Mixer– You can use a stand mixer for this recipe, but you don’t have to get it out if you don’t want to. A simple hand mixer will do fine. recommend it.

Large bowl– I LOVE stainless steel bowls. They are great in the kitchen for all kinds of cooking and baking. They hold up well and don’t need to be replaced often.

Ok- back to this light, fluffy and creamy pumpkin pie dip! It only has four ingredients, so it's quick and inexpensive to make.

There are tons of these kinds of dips that have Cool Whip, other whipped toppings, whipped cream and even sour cream! We are keeping this recipe short and sweet. Here are the ONLY ingredients you need.

Ingredients to make Pumpkin Pie Dip Recipe

  • cream cheese- You'll need just one 8 ounce package of cream cheese. Make sure to set it out so it's room temperature. It will make it easier to get a smoother dip and there won't be clumps.
  • pumpkin puree- Make sure you get the plain canned pumpkin puree, not the canned pumpkin pie mix.
  • powdered sugar
  • pumpkin pie spice- This makes the best pumpkin dip with that great pumpkin flavor.

How to Make Pumpkin Pie Dip

Step 1

Soften the cream cheese.
Let the cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing. This helps prevent lumps.

Step 2

Mix the ingredients.
Add the softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar and pumpkin pie spice to a large bowl.

Step 3

Beat until smooth.
Use a hand mixer for about 2 minutes, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.

Step 4

Chill or serve.
Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to serve.

Yes! You can make this the day before and it will be perfect the next day.

This dip will last for four days in the refrigerator.

No. This will change the recipe and you would have to adjust the spices. Stick with plain pumpkin for the best results.

No, I wouldn't freeze this. I've never tested it and not sure the cream cheese would thaw well.
