My kids love eggs and eat them just about every morning. Kind of funny since I’m allergic and have NEVER have been able to eat them. I’m always trying to come up with easy things to make in the morning because I always feel rushed. There never is enough time.
I like making these breakfast bites because while they’re in the oven I can get ready, make lunches and get organized. Scroll down to get the recipe for these crescent roll egg cups.

Crescent Roll Egg Cups
This breakfast egg recipe is pretty simple to make and a family favorite. It’s a great brunch recipe too.
Kitchen tools I love that I use to make these egg muffins.
Wooden Spoon with a flat top– I have tons of wooden spoons, but I love the one with the flat top so you can scrap the bottom of your pan and get off anything that’s stuck.
Grease Container– Some sausage has more grease than others. If yours has a lot and you need to drain it, this grease container is perfect.
Iron Skillet– Of course, you don’t need an iron skillet to make this recipe, but you can use it if you have one big enough.

**I make ground sausage for the week at one time and just reheat as needed in the mornings. I used that for this recipe.**
Instructions for Crescent Roll Breakfast Muffin Cups
Step 1
Preheat oven 375F.
Step 2
Use cooking spray to coat the muffin tin and place the crescent dough into each muffin space. Usually there are 8 to a package. I had 2 left over so I just rolled them up and baked them according to directions or you could just make 8 muffins! 🙂

Here’s what it should look like. I just kind of squished them in there.
Step 3
Add about one tablespoon of cooked ground sausage into each crescent roll. Top that with about another tablespoon of shredded cheese . Lastly, break an egg on top.
Step 4
Bake in oven 17-20 minutes or until crescent roll in done. Sprinkle with a little salt an pepper to taste.

Tip 1
Place your muffin tin onto a baking sheet in case the egg runs over while baking.
