Crescent Roll Egg Cups

My kids eat eggs just about every morning.  Kind of funny since I’m allergic and NEVER have been able to eat them.  I’m always trying to come up with easy things to make in the morning because I always feel rushed.  There never is enough time. I like making these because while they are in the oven I can get ready, make lunches and get organized.  Scroll down to get the recipe for these crescent roll egg cups.

**I make ground sausage for the week at one time and just reheat as needed in the mornings.  I used that for this recipe.**

Crescent Roll Egg Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup ground sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven 375F.
  • Place a crescent roll into each muffin space.  Usually there are 8 to a package.  I had 2 left over so I just rolled them up and baked them according to directions or you could just make 8 muffins! 🙂

Here’s what it should look like.  I just kind of squished them in there.

  •  I put about a tablespoon of cooked ground sausage into each crescent roll.  Top that with about another tablespoon of shredded cheese.
  • Last, I broke an egg to top it all off.  Hint:  I placed my muffin tin onto a baking sheet in case the egg ran over.
  • Bake in oven 17-20 minutes or until crescent roll in done.
  • Sprinkle with a little salt an pepper to taste.
