I love when the weather gets warm. We spend a lot of time outdoors and I love grilling out. My son is celebrating his first communion so we decided to have a little party for him. Some of the other kids were too, so it was fun to celebrate with them and their families. We grilled out, played with friends, and enjoyed the adult company.
The menu consisted of burgers, chips, lots of fruit, homemade mac n cheese and some TRISCUIT Cracker appetizers.

When I had the chance to work with TRISCUIT Crackers, I was excited. I normally buy them and they’re always in my pantry. I wanted to do a fun appetizer with them so I started thinking of a recipe and had some ideas. Then I went to Harris Teeter to pick up my ingredients. Ok- Do you know how many different kinds they have? I had to reevaluate and change things up when I got there. They have a ton of flavors that can make some interesting combinations. I decided to go with two different ones because I couldn’t make a final decision. Your local Kroger store will have sampling, so keep a look out when you are shopping.
Here’s the first one!
This is so easy to make and DELICIOUS! I went with a Sriracha TRISCUIT. My husband likes the spice so I thought he would love this!
- TRISCUIT Sriracha
- Goat Cheese
- Figs
I spread the goat cheese on the TRISCUIT and cut a fig in half to top it. I found the figs in the produce department. I had to ask to find what I was looking for. You may too. Goat cheese is pretty strong so you really don’t need much.
Here’s the second one I made.

I made this one on a TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda.
- TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda
- Roasted Red Pepper Hummus (You can make this or just buy a prepackaged one.)
- Roasted Red Peppers- You can roast your own on the grill or buy a jar of them. I bought a jar because I was out all morning at a lacrosse tournament and I didn’t have much extra time before people would start arriving.
These took no time and all and every person devoured them! These crackers are so yummy you could probably eat the entire box with no topping or dip! In fact, we did!

If you don’t believe me about the amount of flavors, see below! There’s probably about a dozen in that photo.

Here are all the kids hanging out!

Enjoying the food!
Which TRISCUIT Cracker will you buy? What will you top yours with?

My kids love Triscuits, so I'll have to try these recipes!! Really anything you top them with is good. When figs are in season, they make the best appetizers...especially if you include bacon!

Looks like you had so much fun during your party. We are huge fans of TRISCUIT cracker, so I really liked the idea of making different appetizers with them. I will try your goat and fig appetizer, I bet everyone in my family will love it. [Client]
